This is the product you need! w/how to program review video July 24, 2010 B. Rodgers (Officially Undisclosed) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1SQMQFRN18X7R Some people complain about the complexity of programming, but if you can handle soldering a few wires and pushing a few buttons, it's not bad at all.
Since the steps to program seem to throw some people off, I've included that bit in my review. Unless you have a G35 and a headunit with voice commands, you'll want to map the source button instead of the voice command, but seeing these steps done can help you out regardless.
As previously stated, go directly to the website for instructions, otherwise bring a magnifying glass and highlighter so you can see which wires you're supposed to connect to, and with which resistors.
Works amazing April 22, 2010 Reviewerer (California) Installed in 08 WRX with AVIC x910BT. Depending on the feel of you steering wheel controls you will have varying levels of difficulty programming. You need to press the buttons firmly and for a second or more to get them to register. Clicking won't work when programming. People who can't program these are tech challenged because if you follow the directions and my advice above it WILL work. Make sure you download vehicle specific instructions from PAC. The ones in the box are useless. Overall the controls are MORE responsive than they were for the OEM head unit. Make sure you buy the most recent revision to get all the features.
Works perfectly April 29, 2010 Chris Hughes (Baltimore, MD) I just recently bought a Pioneer AVIC-Z110bt and this compliments it very well. All of the functions work perfectly even voice control. I sold my Peripheral Electronics PE-SWIPS for this version made by PAC and it works faster and the buttons seem more fluid if that makes any since. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Restored controls to my steering wheel (better than OEM)! June 8, 2010 Jon-michael Sima (Florida) The price initially scared me off on this product, so I skipped it during my stereo install. However, I came to miss the steering controls on my 350z. So, I bit the bullet and bought the module.
It turns on the install was simple and the results gave more response from my controls than I originally had!
You'll notice the instructions ask you to use certain resistors during the install. Before the install, I actually just wired the resistors inline between 2 separate wires on each resistor with heat shrink tubing to create 2 extra wires instead of messing with resistors connecting to the factory wires. Much easier!
After that, the programming instructions were very simple and I got back my controls. Well worth the money, especially in the long run.

This part works perfectly. My husband installed it with no problem and I'm happy to have my controls at my fingertips again.
